After 27 years, we’ve updated our brand identity which includes a new logo, colours and font. You’ll see our new look on our website, Facebook, Twitter and anywhere we’re out in public. We believe the new look better matches what we’ve become since 1990: a vibrant and progressive tax and accounting firm with deep roots in our community and an innovative approach to serving individuals and businesses in BC and Alberta.

Since we started in 1990, we’ve more or less stayed with a round design and our gold half moon (although we slightly altered our font to have something a little less swirly, highly technical term). But in the last few years we’ve changed quite a bit. We expanded our office in New Westminster, our founding partner Gabrielle transitioned from practicing to doing more speaking engagements on financial literacy, we added a new partner, Alex Young, and we’ve started serving clients not only in the lower mainland but all across BC and Alberta.

The old look didn’t seem to suit us as well anymore so it was time for a change. Getting a ‘makeover’ was fun and exciting!

Our design goal was to match our look with our values and the clients we serve. We hired a talented local group to find something that conveyed what we are: approachable, smart, professional, friendly, and connected. Above all, never stiff or stodgy.

The original brand colours felt slightly collegiate so the new colours were selected as a refreshing difference from traditional tax and accounting firms. The sans serif font is deliberately modern and light. Our decision to use negative space for the “L” and “N” of Loren Nancke was inspired by the idea of having a business life that’s clean and uncluttered with room to breathe – some of the benefits we dedicate to bring our clients.
